Triangulation of CO2 Emissions
Precision CO2 MRV with Triangulation™
Our proven triangulation™ technology integrates multiple data sources for unparalleled accuracy in CO2 emissions monitoring.
How It Works
The GreenCert™ system uses a copyrighted triangulation™ solution to accurately measure, report, and verify greenhouse gasses
Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS)
Stack concentration and velocity measurement combined
Ultimate Carbon Analysis (UCA) - Incoming fuel analysis combined with mathematical model
Generalized Emissions Factors (GEF)
Pre-computed database based on the US EPA or other data and mathematical models
Carbon Mass Balance (CMB)
Heat-rate from Boiler / Turbine Cycle Efficiency
Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS)
Success stories with quantifiable results in improved CO2 MRV
Yangliuqing Thermal Power Plant
Over 7 years since 2016, GreenCert has delivered proven improvements in CO2 MRV of 15%-18% at the Yangliuqing Thermal Power Plant in China, belonging to China Huaneng Group, the world’s largest operator of coal-fired power plants. GreenCert has proven that many of Chinas coal plats actually overreport their CO2 emissions.
Chinese Operators
GreenCert can save Chinese operators $billions over the next decade because of triangulation accuracy in CO2 MRV.
Quadrangulation™ for Methane Emissions
Breakthrough Methane Monitoring with Quadrangulation™
Accurate measurement is the cornerstone of effective climate action. It allows governments and organizations to set realistic targets, track progress, and implement data-driven strategies to reduce emissions.
Under Development
We are presently developing quadrangulation™ system for methane MRV, based on our proven and successful triangulation technology.
50% Of Climate Change
Did you know that over the next 20 years methane emissions will cause more than 50% of climate change? Yet, current MRV methods only inaccurately estimate the volume of methane emissions. There is not a technology today in the world that can accurately measure the volume of methane emissions.
Low Hanging Fruit
Methane represents the low-hanging fruit in climate action, because if we know exactly where it is being emitted, we can take decisive action.
