The patented solution was developed in the United States as a highly valuable enterprise management system for environmental compliance. In addition to our patented triangulation approach, GreenCert offers additional tools to sense check and analyze the accuracy of measured emissions:
GreenCert™ analyzes emission intensity by dividing a specific unit’s emissions by its energy production during a specific time period. This information helps indicate facility efficiency and identifies potential for emission measurement errors. Using standard deviation analysis, GreenCert™ pinpoints abnormal fluctuations in intensity that could be a result of measurement errors.
The entire EPA emissions database from the U.S. is built into GreenCert™. The database is used to benchmark emissions of any unit compared to other units throughout a facility, as well as to state and national averages. The information in this database can assist facilities to create strategies to comply with future legislation and establish new rules.
